CFO

Siobhan brings more than 20 years of experience to consulting in a variety of capacities.  As a results-oriented executive with a diverse background in for- and non-profit arenas in both international and domestic companies, she possesses an overarching perspective, which lends itself to being a strategic business partner for organizations. She helps organizations manage day-to-day processes, including finance, risk management, budgeting, contract review, policy creation and implementation, along with strategic planning and compliance.

Professional Accomplishments
  • Facilitated acquisition and forgiveness of a $2.9M Payroll and a second $2M loan Protection Program loan, along with an $8M Shuttered Venues Operating Grant.
  • Managed remarketing of tax-exempt bonds to alleviate cash flow pressures brought on by COVID-19, resulting in an increase of operating cash reserves by $1M+.
  • Led large-scale financial processes, including transition of $6.5M 401k plan, $38M endowment, $8M defined benefit plan and financial management of two capital campaigns—one for $65M and another with working goal of $85M—including tax-exempt financing.
  • A primary resource for legal matters, including review, preparation, and negotiation of all contracts, including contracts for world-class and blockbuster exhibitions that drove revenue, such as Harry Potter: The Exhibition, Jurassic World: The Exhibition, and Marvel: Universe of Super Heroes.
  • Key member of the team that restructured staff and salaries as an immediate response to the COVID-19 pandemic. After the return to financial stability, led an initiative to reimburse employees for lowered wages.
  • Implemented IT governance process to ensure organizational buy-in to manage risks and align projects, processes, and technology solutions to meet organizational objectives.
  • Implemented a managed service provider for routine day-to-day functions to free up internal IT staff to focus on vital IT strategies and projects.
Professional Experience
  • Prior to entering consulting, Siobhan was the Sr. VP and CFO at The Franklin Institute, after rising through the ranks where she started as Director of Finance. She also was a Group Controller with Catalent Pharma Solutions, in their Clinical Services division, which had facilities in the U.S., U.K., and Germany. With Coleman Natural Foods and International Paper, she held Assistant Controller positions.
Education / Certifications
  • Siobhan received her MS in Accounting and Finance from Southern New Hampshire University and her Bachelor of Arts degree in Economics from Rutgers University. She is a licensed Certified Public Accountant in New Jersey and is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and the Pennsylvania Institute of Certified Public Accountants
