Healthcare – Skilled Nursing Facilities
Each year more members of the Silent Generation and Baby Boomer Generation are finding themselves in need of skilled nursing care. The growing numbers are staggering.
The founders of Cardinal Search have experienced this need first hand as our very own parents have had to move into assisted living and longterm care facilities. We had to quickly learn what is involved in searching for the “right place” for our loved ones and felt the impact of the staffing shortages in this industry. This is why we have chosen to recruit for this specialized skill set. There is a desperate need for talented professionals to care for our loved ones.
We know the value of having a well trained, fully staffed facility. You could say we have found our calling. We have a personal, burning passion to make a positive impact in this industry.
Registered Nurse Assessment Coordinators (RNAC) and Minimum Data Set (MDS) nurses have a direct impact on the quality of care patients receive. Their responsibilities include the coordination of the processes related to the assessment of patients and residents in a health care facility. RNACs assess patients asking them to report how they feel, provide regular reports to doctors and other medical professionals, bill, and work with the MDS (medical decision support) system to ensure that all conditions are treated in the best possible way.
Specific areas of focus we recruit are the following:
- Registered Nurse Assessment Coordinators (RNAC)
- Minimum Set Data Coordinators (MSD)
- Utilization Review Nurses
- Directors of Nursing and Nurse Managers
- Nursing Supervisors
- Informatics RNs
- Infection Control RNs
- Nurse Practitioners
